17-4PH stainless steel is a precipitation-hardening stainless steel known for high strength, corrosion resistance, and mechanical properties in ambient and elevated temperatures.
Its composition includes: 16% Cr, 4% Ni, 4% Cu, and 0.30% Nb/Ta.

“This specification covers a corrosion-resistant steel in the form of bars, wire, forgings, mechanical tubing, flash welded rings, and stock for forging, flash welded rings, or heading.”
Solution-heat treated. Precipitation hardenable stainless steel.
