Yes. All Aero-Vac stainless steel materials are fully traceable to mill test reports (MTRs) and comply with the relevant AMS, MIL-Spec, BMS, DMS, ASTM, SMS, and QQ standards listed. We are AS9100D/ISO 9001 certified with a 99.6% quality rating. Certificates of conformance, chemical and mechanical test reports, and special process records are provided with every shipment upon request.
Austenitic grades (304, 316, 321, 347) offer excellent corrosion resistance but cannot be hardened by heat treatment. Martensitic grades (410, 420, 440C) can be heat-treated to high hardness and are widely used in bearing and cutting applications. Precipitation-hardening (PH) grades (17-4PH, 15-5PH, 17-7PH, 13-8Mo) combine very high strength with good corrosion resistance through a controlled aging heat treatment, making them ideal for aerospace structural components, fasteners, and landing gear applications.

Yes. Our in-house processing facility at the Port of Kalama features 17 band saws capable of cuts up to 36 inches wide and 32 inches thick. Additional services include precision grinding, trepanning, milling, turning, heat treatment, and comprehensive mechanical and non-destructive testing—all under AS9100D certified quality controls.
